Winemaker Notes:
Our Chardonnay is from 3 clones on the deep volcanic loams and alluvial silts over limestone on the river flats of our vineyard sourced from vines planted between 1978 and 1996.
Our Estate fruit from the Moorabool Valley, Geelong. Wild fermented then matured with little intervention in 20% new French oak for 10 months.
Tasting Notes:
Pale straw green in colour. An alluring bouquet of crème bruleé, almond croissant, juicy peach and nectarine stone fruits. The palate is rich and generously weighted with ripe stone fruits, Kingston biscuits, lime leaf, slaty nuance and toasted French oak. The fleshy mid palate extends to a lingering creamy finish.
